All this time to myself
I learned something new
Our bodies are temples
Hence they are dear too

(I’ve been on quarantine since March 9 and since then, I’ve understood that our bodies are just as important as our minds. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always known they are equally important. However, I often disregarded my body, focusing only on my inner self. Fortunately, I think I’ve finally defeated most of my demons. Now, it’s time to improve other aspects of myself.)

  2. Glad to know that you’ve defeated most of your demons. As they say sometimes such hard situations make us stronger. So keep it up with your quarantine, stay safe and keep smiling. ✌️

  3. My heart goes out to you. I hope we will all conquer this virus. Keep your spirits high, as best as you can, during this devastating period.

I agree 100% that the body is a temple. May I add, eating nutritiously is vitally important not just for our body, but also our microbiome, i.e. bacteria and phages. We must be kind to them, these heavily outweigh our human cells, and are our warriors in the fight against infections in ways we’re only just beginning to understand. A diversity of fibre-loving bacteria, for example, greatly boosts the immune system. A diversity of fat and sugar-loving bacteria, a different group altogether, weakens it.

    1. Yes, I agree. In fact, for the past three weeks I’ve been eating very well, and I’ve never felt better. Our body is our only resource and we cannot overlook it and its needs.
Thank you for the lovely comment, and hopefully this period will pass soon. Stay safe ❤
